Bobby Brown (1993) Get Away 12″
Bobby Brown returned with a new album in 1992 simply entitled ‘Bobby’. The wildly successful collaboration with Babyface, L.A. Reid, and Daryl Simmons continued along with a new producer in the mix, new jack swing king Teddy Riley. The first two singles from the album, “Humpin’ Around” and “Good Enough”, were both Top 10 pop hits. The third single was “Get Away” and it fell just short of the Top 10, peaking at #14. However, the 12″ single release reached #1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance Music 12-Inch Singles Sales chart on March 20, 1993. The 12″ single features remixes by Teddy Riley, Chris Stokes and Marc Kinchen. Riley and Brown were co-writers of the song.
