Haircut One Hundred (1983) Prime Time UK 12″
In 1982, the Nick Heyward led Haircut One Hundred released the album ‘Pelican West’ to great critical acclaim and chart success. Before the band could enter the studio to record a follow up album, Heyward left the band to pursue a solo career. That left lead vocal duties in the hands of percussionist Mark Fox. The band’s second release was entitled ‘Paint and Paint’. The departure of Heyward seemed to be too much for the band to overcome. The second album fared poorly and there were no further album releases from the group. Several singles were released from the album, today’s record is a UK 12″ release of “Prime Time” featuring the Late Night Shopping Version.
