Rosie Gaines (1987) Crazy 12″

Very Brief:
Before joining Prince’s New Power Generation band in 1990, Rosie Gaines was a member of various bands in the early/mid 80s including The Curtis Ohlson Band that also included Levi Seacer, Jr. on guitar. It was through Seacer that Gaines met Prince. In addition to her work with those early bands, Gaines recorded 2 albums for Epic Records; 1985’s ‘Caring’ and ‘No Sweeter Love’ that was shelved in 1987. It was later released on Expansion Records in 2000. Despite the album not being released in 1987, a 7″ and 12″ record was pressed for “Crazy”. The 7″ was available commercially and as a promo but, the 12″ was promo only. It features the Single and Album versions of “Crazy”.
