Toni Braxton reached #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles Airplay chart with “Seven Whole Days”. It spent 5 weeks at #1 on the R&B charts and reached #48 on Billboard Hot 100 Airplay. Due to this not being officially released as a single, the Airplay charts were the only charts where the single was tracked.
In the early 90’s, the combination of the elegantly beautiful Toni Braxton and the hitmaking combo of LA & Babyface brought immediate success. Toni’s debut album sold over 10 million copies but, surprisingly, none of the singles reached #1 on any of the major US Billboard charts. Today’s record was the highest charting single on the Hot 100 from that debut album.

The second single from TLC’s ‘Fanmail’ was “Unpretty” which went on to spend three weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. It was TLC’s last #1 on the Billboard pop charts and their last Top 10 on the UK singles chart. The 12” release features the “Don’t Look Any Further Remix” which basically mashes up Dennis Edwards’ 1984 #2 R&B hit single with “Unpretty”, it is an awesome remix in my opinion.
